For a long time VU museum of Zoology has Oryctes nasicornis, which lives in Lithuania. And now, thanks to Vilnius University patron G. Vaitiekūnas, we have some kind of "green hunting" exhibit — it is a copy of front part of White rhino. The actual White rhino still lives somewhere in Africa, however, at our museum You can see at the work of our taxidermist K. Bybartas, to whom was given a silver medal for prototype colors, body convexity, scratching of horns, threatening looking animal... You can read more...
